Add a Check-In
Start with an overall wellbeing state. A short Entry is still a valid Entry.
Flared · Persistent symptoms · Tracking & support
When pain, fatigue, brain fog or other symptoms continue, it can be difficult to explain the timeline from memory. Flared helps you capture the experience in small pieces, include the impact on real life and gather what matters before a conversation.

Start with what you know
There is no requirement to fit every symptom under one diagnosis. Use Focus Areas to organise what matters to you and add detail only when you have the capacity.
A record that respects difficult days
Start with an overall wellbeing state. A short Entry is still a valid Entry.
Note what changed in daily life, not only a number for how intense a symptom felt.
Send a Flare when you need practical or emotional support without a long explanation.
Prepare a Summary from selected Entries and add the questions you want to raise.
Careful language matters
Flared may help you notice that experiences often appear together or seem different from your usual baseline. It does not say that one factor caused another, fill in days you did not record or infer a diagnosis from your timeline.
Your life belongs in the story
Appointments often move quickly. Recording what became difficult—sleeping, working, thinking, moving or caring for yourself—can help you remember the practical effect of a change as well as the symptom itself.
Questions before you start
Yes. Flared lets you describe your health experience in your own words without selecting or proving a diagnosis.
No. Flared can surface personal observations over time, but it cannot establish cause, diagnose a condition or recommend treatment.
Nothing is inferred from a missing Entry. Flared does not treat an unrecorded day as a well or symptom-free day.
You can select information for a personal Summary, add questions and decide what to share. A Summary is a conversation aid, not a medical record or clinical report.

Flared is a personal support and communication tool, not a substitute for assessment. Our mental health and persistent symptoms guide explains what may be useful to track and links to Australian health sources and support services.
