Flared · Postpartum health · Tracking & support

Postpartum health is more than one question at a six-week check.

Physical recovery, sleep, mood, feeding, pain and the mental load of caring can change from one day to the next. Flared gives you somewhere to put what you notice—and a quicker way to ask for help when explaining it all feels impossible.

Recovery has more than one dimension

What can you track postpartum?

You can record a quick overall Check-In or add detail about the parts of recovery that matter to you. You do not have to complete every field, and a missing Entry never means that you were well.

Built for limited capacity

Capture the moment. Ask for the next useful thing.

1

Check in quickly

Choose how the day feels relative to your own baseline. Stop there if that is enough.

2

Add what matters

Include physical, emotional or practical context without having to label the cause.

3

Send a Flare

Ask a trusted person for food, rest, company, a lift or another specific kind of help.

4

Prepare questions

Gather selected observations before speaking with a GP, midwife or child health nurse.

Your information stays yours

Private by default; shared by choice.

Your Support Circle does not automatically receive your private Entries. You decide whether to send a Flare or Update and what to include in a Summary. Flared does not contact a clinician, partner or family member on your behalf.

Before an appointment

Bring the timeline you can remember.

A personal Summary can bring together the changes you selected, the impact on daily life and questions you want to ask. It is not a clinical report, screening result or diagnosis, and you can review it before sharing.

Postpartum and postnatal tracking with Flared

What can I track after having a baby?

You can record physical symptoms, sleep, energy, mood, appetite, daily functioning, your own notes and support needs. Flared does not assess whether a change is expected or diagnose a postnatal condition.

Is Flared a postnatal depression screening tool?

No. Flared is not a screening, diagnosis or crisis service. Speak with a doctor, midwife or child health nurse if you are worried about your mental health.

Can a support person see all my postpartum Entries?

No. Private Entries are not automatically visible to your Support Circle. You decide whether to send a Flare, Update or selected Summary.

Can I use Flared between postnatal appointments?

Yes. Flared can help you remember changes, daily impact and questions for your next conversation, but it should never delay urgent or professional care.

Is the Flared mobile app available now?

The web app is available now. Mobile apps are coming soon; join email updates for verified store links.
